Play-Doh Perfect Twist Ice Cream Playset
Explore Play-Doh Perfect Twist’s swirl tower and sprinkle station, then invent a constellation sundae menu with colorful pretend treats and star stories.

The play at a glance
A little dessert counter with two kinds of decoration
A tall white tower, a blue handle and a separate sprinkle maker turn Perfect Twist into a miniature dessert counter. Colorful cones wait beneath the tower, while dishes and spoons suggest orders ready to serve. The play is all about shaping an imaginary treat, choosing its decoration and deciding who in the story has come to collect it.
Swirls at the tower, sprinkles at the side
The A2104 guide shows a cartridge with room for two colors. Pulling the tower handle turns the cone beneath it while compound forms a pretend soft-serve swirl. The separate sprinkle maker sits on the green arm; turning its handle adds small decorations to a cone below. These two stations give a make-believe order a beginning and a finishing touch.
The original instructions mark the set ages 3+, require adult assembly and state that the compound contains wheat. Every creation is for pretend play and must stay out of mouths. Use the matching guide for assembly, loading and cleanup, and return compound to its containers after the session.
Create a constellation sundae menu
Imagine a dessert shop that opens when the stars come out. Invent three constellations of your own, such as the Sleepy Whale, the Lantern Kite and the Dancing Teapot. Draw a small star map for each and connect the dots into its shape.
Beside each map, design a pretend sundae with two colors and a decoration pattern. The Sleepy Whale might have blue-and-white swirls with a line of dots along one side; the Lantern Kite could carry a bright zigzag. Make the designs with modeling compound or draw them entirely on the menu cards.
A customer chooses a constellation, and the server explains its sky story while preparing the imaginary order. Perhaps the whale swims between stars looking for a quiet place to sleep. Keep the paper map beside the creation so the customer can find the same shape in both.
Swap roles and let the next customer invent a new constellation. At closing time, choose a name for the shop and draw its sign. The pictures and stories make a complete activity even when the playset is packed away.

Sources and editorial notes
Hasbro’s complete A2104 instruction sheet matches the pictured tower and side sprinkle maker. Its station diagrams recommend Play-Doh Plus for swirls and classic compound for sprinkles; the product webpage reverses that allocation, so this guide follows the printed instructions. Earlier therapeutic and developmental claims remain historical commentary. The constellation menu is original Toysit work; no physical testing was performed.
