The play at a glance

A red jet with room for the story between shows

The Party Plane’s bright red body carries black stars and Rock Angelz character pictures. Its roof opens above the cabin, and a side door lowers into boarding steps. A gray suitcase and little accessories sit beside the plane, ready for a player to arrange the next departure.

Imagine the band arriving with a new destination in mind. One character checks the itinerary, another carries the luggage, and a third wonders what the next audience will be like.

Board, arrange the cabin and pack the luggage

MGA’s illustrated sheet shows the roof opening for access to the cabin, the side door revealing the steps, and a rear cargo door for storing accessories. Landing gear extends beneath the body and wings. These separate openings make the departure easy to divide into small scenes.

The illustrated contents include a suitcase, makeup case, pretend drinks, grooming pieces and a miniature flat-screen television. A player might give each passenger a different task: pack the case, choose a seat or announce the next stop. The little objects help fill the journey with things for the characters to do.

Add a departure cue

With the plane switched on, its button activates flashing lights and music. The guide assigns assembly and disassembly to an adult and specifies three AA batteries, installed by an adult. Follow the matching illustrated sheet when fitting the wings and preparing the toy.

Imagine the music as a cue for a tour announcement. The player could introduce the destination, describe the planned concert and invite a passenger to share a favorite part of the trip. A drawn postcard can become the first souvenir of the imaginary journey.

Make a boarding pass and tour postcard

  1. Choose an imaginary destination and name its concert venue.
  2. Make a small boarding pass with a passenger’s name and a departure time.
  3. Draw something the band hopes to see when it arrives.
  4. Write a two-sentence announcement welcoming everyone aboard.
  5. Turn the drawing into a postcard describing the arrival.

This original Toysit activity works with the plane, another toy vehicle or a paper cabin. The destinations and announcements come from the player.

Sources and editorial notes

Both pages of MGA’s Party Plane operating sheet, revision 0405-0, were visually reviewed through a public ManualMachine scan alongside the original package and Toysit photograph. They document cabin and cargo access, landing gear, and button-operated lights and music. The older photo-album and sound-chip wording remains in the historical account; the matched sheet describes the plane’s built-in effects. The boarding-pass activity is original; no physical testing was performed.
