This page describes the features used by the redesigned Toysit pages as of October 15, 2026. Older areas of the site may use different templates and external services.
Reading and finding topics
The redesigned homepage, choosing guides and AI reference pages have no account signup, comments or newsletter form. Their layout assets are served by Toysit. The topic directory filters the already-loaded list in your browser; it does not submit your typed search to an external search service.
The filter records its current search in the page address so the view can be bookmarked or shared. If you share that address, the search words are included. Avoid entering private information into it. Normal requests to the website expose technical connection information to the hosting system; this page does not promise anonymous browsing or a particular server-log retention period.
Older pages and advertising
Some legacy templates load Google advertising code. Google explains its use of information from participating sites in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and describes cookies in its cookie information. Browser privacy settings and Google’s own controls may affect those services.
Links to other websites
Following a manufacturer, retailer or other external link takes you to a separate service with its own information practices. Review that service’s policies before providing an account, payment or a child’s information.
Who the guides are for
Toysit’s choosing guides are written for adults evaluating toys and for readers interested in their history. The redesigned pages do not ask readers to submit children’s names, recordings or photographs.
