Carrom Face-Off Air Hockey Table
Picture a compact Carrom Face-Off air hockey match, then turn a remembered rally into an original rink replay postcard. Original coverage is preserved.

The play at a glance
A little rink with two ends to defend
The Carrom Face-Off table in the original photograph condenses a rink into a low rectangular playing surface. Red strikers stand out against the busy printed graphics, with a goal at each end. Picture two players watching the puck travel between them, each deciding when to meet it and where the next return might go.Follow one rally
The pleasure of a small air-hockey rink is easy to imagine: the puck moves, a striker meets it, and the direction changes. The rails give each exchange a defined space. A player can watch the open route toward the goal, while the person at the other end follows the puck’s return.
Toysit’s original account describes this Face-Off as a tabletop game supplied with pucks and controllers. Its compact form makes the whole playing area visible at once. In a story about a match, that creates a useful point of view: the players can remember the same rally from opposite ends of the rink.
Try a rink replay postcard
After a short period of ordinary play, turn one memorable exchange into a little illustrated sports report. This is an original Toysit activity.
- Pause the game and let the puck come to rest. Choose an exchange both players remember.
- On paper away from the playing surface, draw a rectangle for the rink. Add a few arrows showing the route as you remember it.
- Give the picture a headline: “The surprising return,” “A very busy corner,” or a name the players invent.
- Let the other player add a sentence from the opposite end. What looked different from there?
The postcard can celebrate a good exchange even when nobody remembers the score. It is a drawing from memory, so its arrows can be approximate. A second card might show the moment before the rally: two strikers waiting and a puck ready for its next journey.
Keep all cards, pencils and other added objects off the rink. Before using an older electric table, have an adult check its condition and consult the instructions and electrical information for that exact model.

Sources and editorial notes
The original Toysit text and small photograph are the evidence for this particular table. Three resale photographs of a Carrom Model 220 instruction leaflet were reviewed, but their table illustration does not establish an exact match; they are not used as setup directions here. Dimensions, weight, motor certification, durability and company-history claims remain attributed to the archive. The replay activity is an original suggestion; no physical testing was performed.
