Dragon Ball Z Time Capsule: bring back a message from tomorrow
Create a Dragon Ball Z Time Capsule story with Trunks, a message from tomorrow and three scenes that lead to a changed ending.

The play at a glance
Let tomorrow send back a clue
A clear canopy rises over the blue-and-yellow craft on the original Dragon Ball Z Time Capsule box, with Trunks pictured beside it. The shape invites an arrival scene: a traveler has returned with news from another time. What small clue could change what happens next?
A traveler with something to tell
A time capsule can give a story two beginnings. First there is the moment when a problem appears. Then a visitor arrives with a hint from a possible future. The fun comes from deciding how much the visitor reveals and what the characters choose to do with that information.
Use the pictured Trunks as the messenger in your imagined scene, or draw a traveler of your own. Keep the craft stationary as an arrival point. A folded note beside it is enough to suggest that a journey has happened; players can supply the engine sound with their voices if they wish.
Try a message from tomorrow
- Set out three scene cards. Label them present problem, future hint and changed ending. Draw a meeting place on the first.
- Choose a small problem. Two groups want to cross a pretend bridge, but the bridge keeper is waiting for a signal nobody remembers.
- Write the future message. The traveler’s note says, “The bridge opens when both flags match.” Put it beside the stationary capsule.
- Return to the present. The characters compare their drawn flags and choose one shared design. Act out or sketch how they agree.
- Show the changed ending. Draw everyone at the meeting place across the bridge. Place all three cards in order and explain what the message changed.
For a second telling, reveal only half the message and let another player ask the traveler a question. A solo storyteller can write the question on the back of the hint card, then answer it in the traveler’s voice.
Give the future more than one possibility
Make a second ending in which the characters solve the same problem another way. Perhaps they send a drawing ahead instead of bringing the flags. Compare the choices and keep the ending each player likes. The craft anchors the scene, while the notes and decisions make the journey through time feel different each time it is told.

Dragonball Z Time Capsule description and purchasing information.
Sound, action, lights.
In the realm of science fiction, a time capsule takes on a fascinating and imaginative role, distinct from its real-world purpose. While real-life time capsules are containers that store items from the present to be discovered by future generations, the science fiction concept of a time capsule often involves the manipulation of time itself. Here's how the science fiction concept of a time capsule is typically portrayed:
Time Travel: In science fiction, a time capsule is often a device or mechanism that allows characters to travel through time, transcending the limitations of time as experienced in the real world. It serves as a gateway to the past or future, enabling characters to explore different eras and interact with historical events.
Temporal Preservation: Science fiction time capsules are sometimes used to preserve individuals, objects, or information across different points in time. Characters may use time capsules to "freeze" themselves or objects, effectively transporting them into the future or the past until they are reactivated.
Temporal Messages: Time capsules in science fiction narratives often involve sending messages or warnings across time. Characters may leave messages for future generations, influencing their decisions and actions to prevent disasters or alter the course of history.
Paradoxes and Consequences: The concept of time capsules in science fiction often explores the complexities and paradoxes of time travel. Characters may inadvertently alter the past, leading to unforeseen consequences and alternate timelines. The mere act of interacting with the past can have far-reaching effects on the present and future.
Time Loops: Some science fiction stories feature time capsules as elements within time loops. Characters become trapped in a repeating cycle of events, often involving the discovery or activation of the time capsule, which perpetuates the loop until a resolution is reached.
Technological Marvels: In science fiction, time capsules are portrayed as advanced and futuristic technologies, often developed by advanced civilizations or extraterrestrial beings. They represent the pinnacle of scientific achievement and curiosity about the nature of time itself.
Exploration of Temporal Themes: Science fiction time capsules provide a platform to explore profound themes related to time, destiny, free will, and the interconnectedness of events. They challenge characters and readers to grapple with the implications of manipulating time and altering the course of history.
The science fiction concept of a time capsule goes beyond its physical containment of objects. It serves as a vehicle for exploring the intricacies of time travel, causality, and the profound implications of altering the fabric of reality. Through the lens of science fiction, time capsules offer a rich and thought-provoking avenue for contemplating the mysteries of time and the universe.

The original Irwin package advertises action, sound, lights and an exclusive Trunks figure. Entertainment Earth’s archived IR54300 listing describes the larger Time Capsule with a five-inch Trunks figure; it should not be confused with miniature die-cast releases. A complete matched manual was not recovered, so controls, battery access, projectiles and current function are not established here. The retained science-fiction discussion is historical commentary. This original three-scene activity uses a stationary toy or drawing, with time travel supplied by the story. No physical testing was performed.
