Duel Masters: Sempai Legends — Game Boy Advance
Duel Masters: Sempai Legends brings creature cards into a GBA journey; explore its deck-building play and make a creature-card travel exchange.

The play at a glance
A creature-card collection becomes a journey
The pictured Sempai Legends box shines with dragon artwork and a banner advertising five limited-edition cards. Inside the Game Boy Advance game, a stolen card sets a young duelist traveling between encounters and tournaments. The collection changes as the journey continues, inviting a player to look closely at each creature and decide how it belongs in the deck.
Travel, collect and reconsider the deck
Sempai Legends combines walking and talking with card duels. Its manual describes a forty-card starting deck, new cards earned through duels and tournaments, and town trading centers. A card can be interesting as a creature illustration and as a choice that changes how the next encounter unfolds.
In a duel, mana supports spells and creature summons, while creatures challenge the opponent’s shields. The game provides a tutorial and a deck-management screen for examining the collection. Its booklet also documents two-player trading and battles using two GBA systems, a Sempai Legends Game Pak for each player and a GBA Game Link cable. Solo progress is saved from the pause menu while in Character Mode.
Create a creature-card travel exchange
Draw three original creatures on paper cards. Give each a name, a favorite place and a helpful trait. A lantern-backed turtle might enjoy libraries; a cloud fox might carry messages between hilltops.
- Draw three destinations and place one creature at each. Write a message inviting a creature to visit another place.
- Exchange the drawings as story visitors. Explain what the arriving creature notices and how its helpful trait makes the visit special.
- Write a little travel receipt: the creature’s name, the place visited and one thing it learned about its host.
For the next round, send two creatures together and invent a welcome gift that suits them both. Keep the receipts in order to make a tiny travel diary. Each exchange adds a scene to a shared world, and each player can give the visiting characters a different voice.
