FurReal Friends Kitten
A gray-and-white kitten, a little bottle and responsive paws suggest a first-day-at-home story, with an original three-picture kitten album activity.

The play at a glance
A little kitten ready for its first portrait
Large ears rise above the gray-and-white kitten’s face, and a pink bottle rests beside its front paws. The toy’s gentle back-touch and pretend-feeding responses give a player small moments to build a story around. Imagine this kitten arriving in a new household, finding a favorite window and posing for the first page of its very own album.
Build a scene around a small response
The 70358 guide shows a sensor on the kitten’s back and another at its mouth. A gentle touch to the back wakes the toy, whose front paws move in a kneading action. Bringing its supplied bottle to the mouth produces a slurping sound for pretend feeding.
Those responses make natural pauses in a narrated scene. A player might introduce the kitten, describe its first look around the room, then let a paw movement stand for a comfortable stretch. The words, setting and personality come from the storyteller.
Keep the meal imaginary and use the toy’s own bottle for its feeding action. The guide calls for keeping food and drinks away from the electronic toy and limits cleaning to gentle surface care. An adult can consult the matching booklet for batteries and care.
Make the kitten’s first-day album
Fold a sheet into three picture spaces. Label them Arrival, Favorite window and Goodnight portrait. Give the kitten a name and write it across the top in the style of a tiny photo album.
In Arrival, draw who welcomes the kitten. Perhaps a toy bear holds a sign or a paper character has prepared a cushion. Add a short caption: “Miso arrived just as the afternoon sun reached the rug.”
For Favorite window, draw what the kitten sees outside. A bird, a passing bicycle or an enormous imaginary butterfly can become the focus of a conversation. One player points to a detail while another supplies the kitten’s thoughts.
Leave a picture for tomorrow
In the last space, draw the kitten resting beside something it encountered that day. Use a small moon, a folded blanket or the welcome sign to connect the ending to the beginning. Give the portrait a caption that recalls one favorite moment.
The album can use drawings throughout, or the toy can pose beside the paper scenes. An ordinary plush kitten works too, with players supplying the sounds. The electronic kitten’s sleep response is part of its programming; the album can close whenever its storyteller is ready.
