Power Beads Craft Set
Explore Power Beads Craft Set through its colorful bracelet examples and pink sorting tray, then invent three repeating patterns and names for them.

The play at a glance
A bracelet begins with a rhythm of color
Six bracelet examples circle the front of the bright Power Beads package. Pink, green, purple and turquoise stand out against its striped border, while a pink tray divides the beads into little compartments. Each example gives a maker a color idea to start from.
The NSI package pairs its colors with playful mood names. A maker can treat those names as story prompts or invent a fresh name for a favorite combination. The design itself comes from choosing colors and deciding how they repeat around a loop.
Choose a small pattern to repeat
Start with two colors and give each a place in the sequence. Blue-yellow, blue-yellow creates an even alternation. Blue-blue-yellow gives the yellow a little more space between appearances. Both begin with the same colors, yet their rhythms look different.
On paper, draw a short row of circles and mark the repeating group with a bracket beneath it. Continue the group across the row. Reading the colors aloud can help the maker keep track of the pattern while deciding where the next accent belongs.
Name the design after something you enjoy
A green-and-yellow pattern might become “Sunny Garden.” Blue with occasional white could suggest “Cloud Trail.” These are names chosen by the maker: a way to connect a simple arrangement with a place, memory or imagined scene.
Try keeping the sequence while changing the colors. A pattern inspired by a bright afternoon can become a night-sky design using darker shades. Place the two sketches side by side and notice how much the palette changes their character.
Make a pattern rhythm sampler
- Draw three equal rows of circles.
- Use two alternating colors in the first row.
- Repeat a group of three colors or positions in the second row.
- Invent a different repeating group for the third row and mark its boundaries.
- Name each design and circle the one you would like to turn into a bracelet.
This original Toysit activity is a paper sampler. A real bracelet should use its actual kit’s cord, fastening guidance and age-appropriate materials.
The historical record

Bracelet kit
This bead bracelet kit includes a black-and-white instruction sheet on bracelet making, a bead-sorting tray, and a zip-lock bag containing a couple hundred real glass beads in a wide array of colors and patterns. And there's thick gold thread to string them on--enough for 10 different bracelets.
Crafting with a bead bracelet set featuring glass beads offers a unique blend of creativity, dexterity, and personal expression that many find incredibly satisfying. Unlike plastic or wooden beads, glass beads have a weighty feel and a lustrous finish that elevates the final product to something that feels both luxurious and bespoke. Choosing from a variety of shapes, colors, and textures, crafters can create intricate patterns or simple, elegant designs. The act of threading each bead is not just an exercise in creativity but also a form of mindfulness, requiring focus and fine motor skills. When completed, the bracelet serves as both a fashion statement and a source of pride, and it can also make a heartfelt, homemade gift. For children and adults alike, working with high-quality materials like glass beads adds a layer of sophistication to the crafting experience.
Sources and editorial notes
Toysit’s original image shows NSI Power Beads packaging and its illustrated bracelet examples. The earlier paragraph describes glass beads, gold thread and enough supplies for ten bracelets; the correspondence between that account and the pictured package remains unresolved, so those contents stay in the attributed historical section. Printed mood associations are playful branding. The pattern sampler is original; complete matching instructions remain unrecovered and no physical testing was performed.
