Speedeez Hummer H2 Speed City: a vehicle opens into a miniature route
Explore the Speedeez Hummer H2 Speed City’s unfolding miniature roads and plan an original three-stop delivery itinerary.

The play at a glance
A big vehicle holds a little city
The yellow Hummer opens around a much smaller road scene. Red and gray routes spread beside the vehicle, with ramps, a tower and a marked pad giving the miniature city its landmarks. Imagine a driver arriving with something each neighborhood has been waiting for.Find a route at two scales
The large vehicle and the little roads create two ways of looking at the scene. From outside, there is a Hummer-shaped case. Once opened, the roadways become the foreground and the large yellow body feels like part of the city’s surroundings. A driver can have a destination near the tower, a reason to take a turn, and a place to park at the end.
Look along the visible route before starting a journey. Where does a ramp meet the next section? Which corner would make a useful meeting point? Give each landmark a story name. The tower might be the dispatch office, and a broad area might become the town’s collection point. Use the matching set’s instructions for opening, securing and closing its parts.
Try a city delivery itinerary
Make three paper cards for this original Toysit activity: Arrival, Turn and Parking. Place them beside the playset so the roads stay clear. Choose an imaginary delivery small enough to describe in a sentence: a repaired clock for the station, new menus for a café, or a banner for the town picnic.
- Arrival. Name the person waiting and the landmark where the journey begins. Trace the intended path with a finger above the scene before guiding a matching micro vehicle along an accessible route.
- Turn. Pause the story at a chosen corner. Let the dispatcher give a direction using a visible landmark: “Turn near the tower, then look for the parking place.”
- Parking. End with a delivery conversation. The receiver names the item and explains how the town will use it.
Reverse the order for a collection trip: the café has a parcel to send back, or the picnic crew needs the banner returned to storage. A second player can read the itinerary while the first follows it. For a paper version, draw three connected places and move a drawn car along the line. Add one new landmark each round until the city has its own familiar addresses.

The Hummer H2 is widely known for its sheer size, ruggedness, and off-road capabilities. This luxury SUV, which hit the market in 2002 as a smaller, more practical iteration of the original Hummer H1, quickly became a symbol of American excess and opulence. With its iconic and intimidating design, the H2 stood out in a crowd and commanded attention wherever it went. It was equipped with high-performance suspension systems and boasted significant towing capacity, making it a versatile vehicle both on and off the pavement. However, the H2 was also controversial for its poor fuel efficiency, often criticized amidst rising fuel costs and growing environmental concerns. Despite this, the Hummer H2 found a dedicated consumer base and even gained some popularity as a vehicle of choice among celebrities. It remains a notable entry in the history of automotive design, symbolizing a certain era of American consumer culture.
Sources and editorial notes
Playmates’ 2004 annual-report business review, printed page 14 (PDF page 11), identifies Hummer H2 Speed City as a Speedeez two-in-one playset. That page was reviewed visually; it is product-line history, not assembly guidance, and illustrates a different exterior finish. The original yellow-set photograph supports the layout description. An exact folding/setup manual was not recovered. No helicopter or extra accessory is inferred from the marked pad.
