Twinkleberries School Starter Set
The Twinkleberries classroom starter set pairs Haley with a lesson board and inspires an original classroom of impossible objects.

The play at a glance
A little pupil beside a very large three
A blonde pupil in a purple checked top stands beside a purple classroom board, where a bold number three fills the yellow card. The Twinkleberries starter set turns a familiar pretend-school scene into a sequence of card choices, chalk touches and recorded answers. The player takes the teacher’s role and can build an imaginative lesson around the classroom picture.Cards give the lesson a subject
The starter arrangement includes a doll, board, chalk-shaped control and cards. In the guide, the teacher inserts a supplied card, asks a question and touches the card’s center with the chalk. The doll supplies a programmed response, which may be an answer or an off-topic classroom remark.
The board also has a roll-call control, and the pupils can raise a hand to announce that they are present. The guide shows the dolls facing the board and explains their wake and registration sequence. For an existing set, use the matched directions and supplied cards.
The teacher’s role suggests another lesson entirely: a class where each object is impossible and the students’ answers come from the players.
Open a classroom of impossible objects
Draw cloud shoes, a star spoon and a pocket rainbow on three paper cards. Make each object large enough to see clearly. Add a feature that invites a question, such as a shoelace made of mist or a spoon handle with a tiny window.
Choose a teacher and arrange ordinary plush toys or paper figures as the pupils. The teacher holds up one drawing and asks, “What could this help someone do?” Players give the pupils original answers: cloud shoes could carry a gardener across a wet lawn, or a star spoon could stir a bowl of moonlight.
Keep these homemade cards beside the toy as storytelling props. The supplied electronic lesson cards and the player-made imagination cards have separate roles.
Let a pupil improve the invention
Invite one pupil to suggest a change. The cloud shoes may need a place to store sunshine; the pocket rainbow might need a button that keeps its colors together. Draw the addition and give the invention a new name.
At the end of the lesson, make a class display with one drawing from each player. A narrator can introduce every invention while the others point, describe or add a final detail. The classroom’s voices and discoveries belong to your group.

Radica interactive dolls where you can play school as the teacher while the students respond to you
Playing school is a tried and true play pattern. This toy is an innovative application of technology. Slide a card into the chalkboard, press the chalk to the card and the doll magically responds to the child. Starter kit includes interactive doll, chalkboard, chalk, and set of cards. When you're the teacher, Twinkleberries are the smartest kids in class. Teaching them is fun as it is easy. Keep asking questions and you'll discover why these dolls are the kids with the answers. Press the roll call button. Each doll will raise their hand and will say she is present.
Interactive dolls that come with flash cards offer a unique blend of imaginative play and educational enrichment. As children interact with the doll, they are prompted to engage with the flash cards, which may focus on subjects like math, vocabulary, or basic life skills. The doll may have built-in features that provide immediate feedback or encouragement, making the learning process fun and engaging. This multi-sensory approach captivates kids and aids in retention, while also helping to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Children feel like they are playing with a friend, but they're also absorbing valuable educational content. Such interactive dolls bridge the gap between play and learning, making the experience both delightful and beneficial.
Sources and editorial notes
Both pages of the Radica guide were reviewed. Its character illustrations identify the pictured blonde pupil as Haley; Mattel’s I4017 record also names a Haley starter. The guide covers school sets 74017/74032 and several dolls, while the I4032 filename belongs to another service entry. Exact package revision remains unconfirmed. The service record says age 4+, whereas the guide says 5+; those fields are not combined into a new age recommendation. The documented card/chalk system cues programmed responses, not open-ended speech recognition. Earlier retention and motor-development claims remain historical commentary. The companion activity is original to Toysit; no physical toy or recorded playback was tested.
