The play at a glance

A miniature performance station with room for two voices

The little screen sits above a broad speaker panel, with round controls between them and a microphone waiting at either side of the scene. The Bratz Krazy-Kool Karaoke Machine looks like a compact entertainment corner: one person can make the introduction while another prepares the next song. The original picture’s two microphones make a duet easy to imagine.

Let the screen become the center of the performance

The manufacturer’s cover calls this a CD+Graphics karaoke system, and the contemporary CBP description explains the monitor’s role as a place to view musical lyrics. That gives the station its familiar sing-along arrangement: a performer faces the words while a microphone carries the voice.

For an invented performance, a separate paper cue card can play a different role. Write “Welcome,” “Chorus” and “Weather” in large letters, then point to the next cue as each part of the show begins. A companion can become the cue-card holder and give the hosts a friendly signal.

Present a two-host imaginary radio show

Choose a station name, such as Cloudberry Radio, and draw its emblem on paper. One host welcomes the imaginary audience while the other announces the day’s theme: a traveling garden, a moonlit picnic or the opening of a tiny toy-town theater.

Invent a four-line chorus about that theme. Try one line for a place, one for a character, one for a small surprise and one for a cheerful ending. Take turns speaking or singing the lines, then repeat the final line together. Make up your own words and tune.

Close with a fictional weather report: “Cloudberry Bay expects a gentle breeze and a sky full of kite-shaped clouds.” Swap announcer and singer roles for the next episode. A listener can suggest a new imaginary location, giving the hosts something fresh to describe.

Keep the voices comfortable and the scene simple

The entire show works with ordinary speaking voices and paper cue cards. For an actual karaoke session, an adult should identify the unit, obtain its complete matching instructions and check its condition before setup. Follow its age guidance, use a comfortable volume and arrange microphone cords clear of walking routes. The performance belongs to the people creating it, whether they sing through equipment or simply share a chorus across the table.

Sources and editorial notes

MGA-261322’s recovered instruction cover matches the front design and identifies a CD+Graphics system with a 5.5-inch black-and-white monitor. Only that cover was recovered, not a complete operating manual; it says the electrically operated product is not recommended for children under eight. The September 22, 2003 CBP ruling J88831 was read through CBP’s official data endpoint and corroborates the CD player, microphone and lyric monitor. Effects, rear connections and detailed operation remain attributed to the earlier Toysit account. The radio show is original make-believe, not a broadcasting or recording feature; no physical testing was performed.
