Loaded Questions
Discover Loaded Questions’ anonymous answers and player matching, then plan an imaginary rainy day from everyone’s creative choices.

The play at a glance
Whose answer is that?
Loaded Questions spreads a bright turquoise board across the table, with white answer sheets and dark pencils beside it in the original photograph. The action moves between a question, a few private written replies and the moment those replies are read aloud. Players listen for the person behind each answer.Personal answers become clues
The central idea is to match responses with their writers. In the recovered publisher instructions, one player hears everyone else’s written answers read aloud and tries to assign each answer to the right person. The reveal comes after all the guesses, giving the whole set of answers a chance to puzzle the listener.
Imagine a prompt about an ideal afternoon. One reply might describe a quiet reading corner, another an elaborate picnic and another a miniature railway. A familiar preference can be a clue; an unexpected choice can send the guessing in a new direction. These are imagined examples of the play pattern, rather than quotations from the game’s cards.
The writing gives each person a moment to choose their response, and the shared reading brings those individual ideas together. Follow the instructions supplied with your set for board movement and the finish.
Try a rainy-day choice map
This original Toysit activity asks a gentle question: “What would you choose for an imaginary rainy afternoon?” Paper, pencils and a little space for arranging the answers are enough.
- Each person privately writes or draws one choice. An invented character’s preference is welcome, and anyone may pass.
- A reader mixes the replies and shares them without names. The group can guess who contributed each one.
- Reveal the authors, then arrange the ideas along a paper path from lunchtime to evening.
- Draw places for the activities: a blanket reading nook, a kitchen café or a cardboard train station.
Let surprising combinations shape the day. The imaginary train might deliver books to the café, or the picnic could move beneath a table tent. Finish by giving the map a weather report and a title.
