Rokenbok Forklift RC with Bonus Warehouse
Rokenbok’s yellow RC forklift and warehouse racks set the scene for an original shop-window delivery game.

The play at a glance
A small warehouse with a place for every delivery
The yellow forklift approaches a rack, raises its fork assembly and brings a load into position. In Rokenbok’s Forklift RC with Bonus Warehouse, that small piece of work can become the center of a busy miniature town. The racks give a delivery a destination; the player decides what belongs there and what the next customer is waiting for.
Line up, lift and place
The manufacturer’s plan pairs the yellow vehicle with a warehouse built from beams and racks. Red and blue bins and green barrel holders add different shapes to the work area. The controller’s direction pad moves the vehicle, while separate controls raise and lower the fork assembly.
This is an addition to the original Rokenbok radio-control system. A matching Control Center, Control Pad and receiver arrangement give the forklift its commands. An adult can check the components and assemble the warehouse from its instructions before play. Use the documented loads and keep small parts away from younger children.
The interesting moment is the approach: choosing a bay, lining up the load and making a careful placement. A partner can give the warehouse a reason to be busy by inventing the shops it serves.
Prepare a warehouse window display
Draw three shop-window cards. One might show a blue-and-red seaside display, another a red-and-green garden display, and the third a color order of your own. Give each shop a name and assign its card to a warehouse bay, placing the paper beside the work area.
Choose suitable loads shown in the matching instructions to represent each order. A partner reads the shop’s card; the driver brings its load to the assigned bay. Once the forklift has finished moving, compare the order with the delivery and announce the shop’s opening display.
Swap jobs for the next order. The new shopkeeper can change one color or invent a seasonal window, giving the same warehouse a different afternoon’s work.
For a paper version, draw the warehouse bays and slide colored cargo cards into place by hand. Add a storefront sketch beside each finished order. The resulting row of shops becomes a little high street with a delivery story behind every window.

The history of forklifts can be traced back to the early 20th century, during a time of rapid industrialization. The need to move heavy goods more efficiently within warehouses and factories led to the development of basic lift trucks, which were essentially a combination of a tractor and a lifting platform. The introduction of hydraulic technology in the 1920s marked a significant leap, allowing for greater lifting power and control. World War II accelerated the adoption of forklifts due to the massive logistical challenges of the war effort. In the post-war years, the forklift underwent numerous improvements in terms of safety, efficiency, and automation. Today, forklifts come in a variety of forms and sizes, equipped with advanced features like GPS tracking, automation, and even electric propulsion systems. They are indispensable in a myriad of industries, including manufacturing, logistics, and construction.
