The play at a glance

Two sisters, two color palettes and a shared outing

Phoebe and Roxxi stand side by side in jeans and diagonally striped tops. Phoebe’s pink-and-black outfit sits beneath a fringe of brown hair; Roxxi’s red-and-black top echoes the red accents running through her long hair. A pale halo graphic above Phoebe adds a playful detail to Toysit’s original image.

The paired dolls give a player two voices from the start. Imagine the sisters making a plan together, each bringing a different idea about where the day should lead.

Start with the details they share

The tops use the same diagonal pattern in different colors, and both dolls wear long trousers with small decorative details. The original package shows extra clothing beside them, including pale fluffy pieces near Phoebe and a dark jacket near Roxxi. Their wardrobes offer a shared starting point with room for different combinations.

Toysit’s earlier account lists clothing, shoes, jewelry, bags, brushes, sunglasses and small compacts, along with two collectible keychains. A player can imagine those accessories as the belongings the sisters choose for a particular outing: a bag for an invitation, sunglasses for an outdoor meeting or a jacket for the evening.

Let each sister contribute an idea

Imagine Phoebe suggesting a visit to an art display while Roxxi wants to hear a band. The player could give them a day with both stops, then decide how each sister helps prepare. One might draw a map; the other might make the tickets.

Try changing the interests in the next story. Perhaps Roxxi has a picture to show and Phoebe has written an introduction for the musicians. A favorite color can stay the same while the characters discover different things to do together.

Make two character cards and one shared plan

  1. Write Phoebe’s name on one card and Roxxi’s on another.
  2. Choose a favorite color, an interest and a useful skill for each.
  3. Draw an accessory each sister will bring.
  4. Plan an outing with a stop chosen by each character.
  5. Write a short conversation in which both help the plan take shape.

This original Toysit activity works with the dolls or two drawn characters. The player chooses their interests, words and adventures.
