Power Rangers Dino Thunder — Rangers and Zords
Power Rangers Dino Thunder’s colorful Zords, PlayStation 2 rescue adventure and an original three-color paper rescue switchboard.

The play at a glance
Colorful Rangers and enormous Zords
A red mechanical dinosaur fills the center of the original artwork, with blue and yellow shapes gathered around it. Dino Thunder connects the Rangers’ teamwork to their towering Zords. In the PlayStation 2 adventure, recovering missing Zords becomes the reason to travel, listen to Dr. Oliver’s messages and put different machines into action.
A rescue mission on a giant scale
The PlayStation 2 booklet begins with Zords trapped in a Prison Dimension. Conner and his Tyranno Zord escape, leaving a rescue ahead. Dr. Oliver’s communications give the missions direction as the player works to recover the missing machines.
Different Zord shapes suggest different movement: the Ptera Zord flies, while the heavy Tricera Zord moves along the ground. Available Zords can be cycled during play. The interface keeps mission information beside the action, and the booklet also describes unlockable Power Games. It is a fantasy of piloting enormous mechanical creatures, with each recovered companion adding to the group.
Try a three-color rescue switchboard
Draw red, blue and yellow helper cards, each with a friendly symbol: a lantern, a map and a welcoming hand. Arrange them beside a paper town containing a station, a park and a visitor center.
- Write three messages: a visitor needs directions, a map has gone missing, and a path needs new signs.
- Choose which helper receives each message. Draw a route from that helper’s base to the place needing assistance.
- Send a second message that asks two helpers to cooperate. One could draw directions while another puts up the welcome sign.
Add a paper Zord beside each base and invent a useful feature, such as a lighted map board or a basket for carrying signs. Move the drawings around the tabletop and finish each mission with a short report from the visitor. Everyone can take a turn operating the switchboard.
