Polly Pocket Par-tay Bus
Open Polly Pocket’s Par-tay Bus into a two-level club, explore its dance game and changing DJ counter, and make a miniature tour poster.

The play at a glance
A blue bus carries a whole gathering inside
The Par-tay Bus looks ready for a colorful road trip, with a blue body, pink lower panels and a long green roof. Faces appear through the windows, hinting at the friends traveling together. When the vehicle opens, its interior becomes a place for music, refreshments and a party on two levels.
Opening the bus changes the scene
The guide shows the roof lifting off and the body unfolding to expose a lower dance area and an upper lounge. The removable roof section becomes part of an elevator arrangement. Seats, a hanging disco ball and a counter turn the parked vehicle into a small gathering place.
The DJ booth also changes roles: its rotating counter presents music equipment on one side and a smoothie-bar setting on the other. A player can use that change to move the story from an introduction to a refreshment break.
Follow the flowers on the dance game
The electronic dance unit has flower-shaped pads that light up. Its instructions show the player pressing a doll onto the illuminated flowers. The doll’s steps come from the player’s hand, while the unit supplies lights and sound.
Imagine a traveling show with a different welcome at every stop. One friend introduces a tune, another joins the dance scene and a third announces a pretend drink at the counter. The route, music introductions and guest conversations are the players’ contributions.
Make a three-stop tour poster
- Name the tour and draw a colorful bus on a poster.
- Add three destinations with a small symbol for each.
- Choose a greeting for the first stop, a song introduction for the second and a farewell for the third.
- Give two paper characters different jobs in the show.
- Tell the journey and invent a message from the audience.
This original activity uses narration and drawings. Use the C5847 guide to arrange an existing bus’s movable sections and dance unit; its diagrams also distinguish the separate color-change accessories.

Polly rides in style with her double-decker party bus complete with lounge, games, and dance floor. Polly and her friends have the ultimate party on the go in the ultimate Party Bus. There's so much to do. The bus opens to reveal two levels of fun. Upstairs is a dance floor and lounge area and cool DJ stand that transforms into smoothie bar and cafe. There's also a real working dance game, complete with lights and music that you can move from floor to floor. The luggage rack comes off to become an elevator. Polly and Shani dolls look great with color change make-up and nails.
Polly Pocket has captured the imaginations of children since the early 1990s, largely due to its pocket-sized playsets and miniature dolls. The primary appeal lies in the sheer portability and compact design of Polly Pocket sets, allowing kids to carry an entire world in their pockets or small bags. This encourages imaginative, on-the-go play, whether in the car, at a friend's house, or in the playground. Each set typically features intricate details and hidden compartments, sparking curiosity and encouraging exploration. Moreover, Polly Pocket dolls often come with an array of fashionable clothes and accessories, allowing for creative styling and role-playing. The brand's ability to continuously evolve—adding new themes, characters, and interactive elements—keeps it fresh and engaging for new generations of children.
