Barbie Sea Splash Sisters
Explore Barbie Sea Splash Sisters, their bright watercraft and dolphin companion, then draw a coastal route for a miniature seaside outing.

The play at a glance
Two sisters, a bright watercraft and a dolphin to meet
Barbie sits behind Kelly on a white watercraft with a yellow nose and a pink hull. Their black-and-yellow outfits give the pair a coordinated seaside look, and a gray dolphin waits beside a yellow hoop. Sea Splash Sisters brings those pieces together for a small outing: choose a destination, take the sisters for a ride and give their dolphin companion a part in the story.
Choose a course for the sisters
The watercraft’s rudder sets its direction, and an on/off switch starts the motor. Three AA alkaline batteries supply the power. The guide shows Barbie seated with her hands and feet held in place, with Kelly riding in front of her. On a smooth dry surface, the craft’s wheels support a player-pushed journey; in water, the motor carries it along.
Imagine the sisters leaving a little harbor to visit a dolphin cove. Kelly could be the lookout who spots the next landmark, while Barbie announces their arrival. The player supplies the voices and decides what they discover when they reach the cove.
Give the dolphin a turn
The yellow hoop has a handle for Barbie’s hand. A player can hold the dolphin and guide it through the opening, making a small greeting or performance beside the boat. The masks, fins and sunglasses shown in the guide add details for getting the dolls ready for their outing.
Use adult supervision for water play and protect the surrounding surface. The linked guide shows the battery compartment and assembly, and calls for draining, rinsing, cleaning and thorough drying before storage. Its floating hoop is a dolphin-play accessory; keep the dolls supported by the craft or the player’s hand.
Draw a three-stop coastal map
- On paper, draw a harbor, a dolphin cove and a beach where the travelers will return.
- Give each place a name and connect them with a winding route.
- Choose a doll, small figure or paper boat to make the trip on the tabletop.
- At the cove, invent a greeting and one thing the dolphin wants to show the visitors.
- Return to the harbor and tell the best moment of the outing.
This original Toysit activity stays on a dry tabletop. Another player can draw the next cove or speak for the dolphin.
