Stroll and Play Barbie and Baby Krissy
Explore Stroll and Play Barbie’s double stroller, baby carriers and play gym, then plan a neighborhood outing for Krissy and her baby friend.

The play at a glance
A neighborhood walk with two small passengers
Two babies sit side by side in a purple stroller, with Barbie holding the tall handle behind them. Her pink top, blue skirt and shoulder pouch make a bright outfit for a walk. Stroll and Play Barbie turns that outing into several little scenes: a bouncing ride, a stop with the baby carriers and a playtime visit beneath a tiny gym.
Push the stroller along a little route
Barbie’s hands fit into grips on the stroller handle. With the babies seated, the player holds Barbie and pushes the stroller to produce its bouncing action. The guide specifies a flat surface, with the rear wheels touching the ground so the mechanism can work.
Imagine a walk past a flower bed, a bakery window and a park gate. The player can pause to describe what each passenger notices. A drawn bird near the gate might inspire a greeting, or a pretend shopkeeper could ask where the little group is going.
Stop for carriers, rocking and playtime
The seats lift out to become baby carriers. Their handles rise for carrying, and their curved bases let the player rock them. The stroller’s front bar also lifts away and stands over a baby as a small play gym, with the dangling shapes above the doll.
The guide shows two bottles, two rattles and a rabbit toy among the care accessories. Packing these pieces into Barbie’s pouch can become the start of the outing; choosing one for the park stop gives the player another small decision. Krissy and her friend can take turns with the gym while Barbie tells a story about the walk.
Plan a three-stop neighborhood visit
- Draw a simple route from home to a park, with one interesting place along the way.
- Make a tiny packing card with pictures of a bottle, a rattle and a favorite toy.
- Choose dolls or paper characters for the outing and name the two passengers.
- At each stop, invent something the characters see or hear.
- Finish at home with a short account of the babies’ favorite stop.
This original Toysit activity works with paper characters or the doll set. Another player can draw a shop window or choose the story for the park visit.
The historical record
Original Toysit coverage
The original toy description and broader play discussion are preserved below as historical coverage.
The doll girls are asking for
Barbie doll comes with two adorable babies for double the fun. Barbie also has a magical stroller that transforms into three different accessories: First, it's a stroller which gently bounces the babies as they stroll. Next, remove the stroller bar and it turns into a play gym to entertain the babies. Third, remove the stroller seats and they turn into baby carriers. Barbie also comes with a great pouch to carry all of her baby accessories, including a yellow bottle, pink bottle, rabbit toy, pink rattle and purple rattle.
A doll that comes with a stroller enhances the play experience by adding an extra layer of realism and interactive fun. Kids love mimicking adult behavior, and a stroller allows them to take on the role of a caregiver, pushing their doll around just like a parent would with a real baby. The stroller adds mobility to playtime, making outdoor adventures or imaginary trips to the grocery store possible. It encourages imaginative play, allowing children to dream up various scenarios, whether it's a walk in the park or a day at the zoo. Additionally, the action of pushing the stroller aids in the development of motor skills. Overall, the combination of a doll and stroller provides a comprehensive, engaging play experience.
